You do realize that electric vehicles are not environmentally friendly. Lithium has to be mined for those batteries, the lithium ends up in landfills, and electricity is usually created by burning fossil fuels, in the form of coal or oil. Plus, you must account for the environmental impacts as a result of the production of EV's in factories. There is almost no human activity that is environmentally friendly.
🤗
Apple improves 😂 take a look at 11,12,13 I can't differentiate . That's fucking improvement .
why I have not bought TSLA share in 2018, after watching this video
TESLA CARS = PLASTIC CARS 😍😍😍
Consensus here is that we are not big fans of apple. I really don't think they are better than Samsung (Not anymore) and they are a completely different beast.
Profits, competition and technology is very different. Smartphones are computers. So Apple had a huge advantage.
So situation is very different.
I just did a video on Tesla
Suppose company ABC has a competitive advantage in production, and the CEO wants the company to have a competitive advantage in distribution. So how many ways are there to achieve this?
If ABC wants to build its own competitive advantage in distribution, what will it need to do?
Competitive advantage means gaining the desired position in the market, which results in more customer acquisition and profitability. Competitive advantage makes a company’s brand or products differentiate from competitors’.
https://retiba.com/academy/business-strategies/competitive-advantage/
Smart pricing strategy, differentiation, branding, marketing, asset all serve to create a brand or produce a different product or service that is superior to other competitors. The goal of all of these strategies is to ultimately achieve a competitive advantage that will give access to a wider range of customers and thus achieve greater profits than the average market profit.
apple and tesla are friends
But GE and Honda both had hybrid vehicles available for public consumption years before Tesla even existed.
Too much intro talking
A lot of Apple hating Android sheep in the comment section might not know that Tesla has hired a lot of Apple employees/engineers over the past years!
Hence why Tesla's business model is extremely similar to Apple's model, from in-house software & hardware to its own retail stores.

Watch this to understand why traditional auto companies are in dinosaur mode
Steve Jobs only cared about money. I have iPhone but it is really overpriced especially now that many brands can offer the same/or better features than they have. Elon Musk on the other hand cared about the future. Look at all the companies he's involved with: Tesla for renewable energy & zero emissions EV to save the world, SpaceX for cheap reusable rockets and help astronauts, Boring Company for hyperloop). The difference in vision alone is very obvious.
Releasing the Tesla patents was absolutely inspired, in order for governments and companies around the world to role out charging facilities and more resilient smart-grids, there had to be significant demand; Tesla needs competitors in order to make a dent in the fossil fuel system we all currently inhabit. Releasing these patents was likely not too painful for Tesla because they were already benefiting from them, being the first-movers, and they would have learned to apply them in the real world, it cements Tesla's sincerity in achieving it's vision of transitioning the world towards electric vehicles, and signals to customers that Tesla is not just focused on profits for themselves. Musk was quoted as saying (paraphrase) 'if we are all in a sinking boat and Tesla has a design for a bucket to bail out the water, it is common sense to share that design'.
Apple nickel and dimes you on everything. New model from apple makes all your plugs and accessories obsolete. Tesla give you updates for free. I got increased acceleration in my model S for free via ota update. Apple cripples your phone with their updates. Tesla is more like Google in the beginning with their do no evil motto.
Tesla is the apple of cars. They're years ahead in viehcles and nobody comes close.
With Steve Jobs, Apple is no longer a path breaker as Tesla
You are damn right
Idk why so many people hate Apple??? There is absolutely no reason for that. They are still one of the moat innovative companies in the world. The myth that Apple is not innovative anymore is from either haters or people who don't know what innovation means.
BS detected Tesla is just a project how to use things invented many years ago by other people. Ilon invested money to make more money. Nothing else.
This is the world we live in.
I disagree with Apple producing always superior products. Yes, it has a good track record but that statement is harder to state objectively.
actually they are way different. apple produces trash products that sell well because they are the masters of advertisement and creating desire. Tesla actually makes great products and spends very little on advertisement.
How does this not have millions of views
What’s crazy is most investors and consumers aren’t even aware of Tesla’s world changing vision and products that are unlike any car made. Most people just think it’s a electric car. It’s gunna be crazy when in a few years people come to realize how big of a impact Tesla is having and will have on the world
Tesla opened many but not all their patents. @4:10 you reference a Tech Package Option. As of early 2018, all those features became standard and later basic Autopilot became standard.
99 people disliked this??? What are they smoking?
Love Tesla, i use Apple products but i don't love that company….
Great video and insight.
I don't know how people determine which company is the most valuable in the world but I know one thing: Tesla is probably it right now. Not according to speculation on Wall Street but by the transforming power it possesses. They are simply doing exactly what someone ought to have done decades ago. Their products make sense, look great and perform marvelously well…
Well done!
I love Tesla and I am a great Tesla fan following all news about Tesla. Want Tesla to be successful since I believe in the sincerity of Elon's words about the mission of Tesla to accelerate the advent of sustainable energy. For smartphone, I am pretty sure I will not buy an Apple phone ever. It is too expensive. I am very happy with my Xiaomi phone 🙂
Great video! Thank you.
And the difference is that Tesla does something with intrinsic purpose. In a segment that noone else wants to serve. Not something "nicer than the others".
Thus Tesla are way more innovative, at least braver and exposing themselves to risks much more. But they actually have the goal to change the world. Not only self-realisation.
You got almost everything wrong, but I had to stop and comment when you got to machine learning. Why don't you look up what 'overfitting' means. (hint it's not a good thing)
That last point isn't just an advantage. It's also the prime source of the hate these brands get. It's not the product these companies make. Both Apple and Tesla make good products. It's that their loyal fans are just impalpable to the general public.
Where are the "Hey-tesla-is-not-the-first-to-build-ev" idiots?
is he an apple sheep?
I want a apple camera to beat other brand, a car to beat Chevy bolt at least. And so forth
Am I the only one who keeps looking at Steve Jobs saying “Why is his hair light brown?”
This video is incorrect, I have an iPhone but hate apple. The problem is Samsung sucks even more. The reason there are no other competitors is not because they probably can’t build a great phone, is that the incumbents have app stores that are unrivaled.
They both have restrictive self repair policies. Once the warranty of a Tesla is gone it costs a lot for parts and some parts can only be offered at an official Tesla repair depot.
